Hello everybody,
I'm using ANSYS last Release 14.5.7 and I have a problem using CFD-Post: recently, when I'm trying to open certain simulations, it gives me this error:

ERROR
Error reading file "C:\.....\test.dat". Reason:
FluentIO: Invalid Fluent case

It's very strange because until a week ago I could open all of these simulations without any problem and I haven't made any change to the software (no updates etc...).

Does anybody know what suddenly happens?

Thanks in advance
PJTsai and black_hunter like this.

I was using Fluent 17.1, and I could solve the problem by using CFD-POST 16.2 instead of the 17.1 version. If it's possible for you, try to use another version of CFD-POST.

Open the case and data , and then delete the shell conduction by using the command
Code:
/mesh/modify-zones/delete-all-shells
Then Export cas and cdat, It will Work fine.
