Conference, United States, October 7, 2022

on October 7th, 2022, the Western PA Ansys Users Group meeting is returning and will be in person!

  • 20th International Icing Course
    Online Event, October 11, 2022

Simulation Methods for In-flight Icing Certification of Aircraft, Rotorcraft, Jet Engines The lectures cover aspects of in-flight icing simulation, ice protection systems, handling quality issues. The instructors bring an amalgam of knowledge, as scientists who have produced codes in current use and engineers with certification experience, along with cost-effective simulation methods used internationally for certification of aircraft for flight into known icing.

  • ASME's EL513 - Introduction to Computational Fluid Dynamics
    Online Event, October 17, 2022

This online course provides an introduction to the scientific principles and practical engineering applications of CFD. Although it provides an overview of some of the fundamental mathematical equations governing the fluid flow and heat transfer phenomena, its emphasis is not to teach the theory behind the technology but to help the participants apply the knowledge gained into practical use of commercial CFD codes, particularly ANSYS Fluent.

  • 1st exaFOAM Summer School
Workshop, Bologna, Italy, October 17, 2022

The exaFOAM project ( is organizing the first exaFOAM Summer School, a three-day event aimed at OpenFOAM users with challenges related to High-Performance Computing (HPC). Both academic and industrial participants are welcome.

  • ACFD 2022
Conference, South Korea, October 17, 2022

The 13th Asian Computational Fluid Dynamics Conference (ACFD2022) will be held on 16~19 October 2022 at the Jeju Shinhwa World, Korea. ACFD2022 will be held in a hybrid format, mostly in-person but partially online. The conference will provide Asian researchers in the field of computational fluid dynamics an opportunity to present their latest research results.

December, 2022
  • A three-day ONLINE course on Large Eddy Simulation (LES), hybrid LES-RANS, Detached Eddy Simulation (DES) and unsteady RANS
    Workshop,, Sweden, December 5, 2022

Lectures will be given in the mornings; in the afternoons there will be workshops using Python (recommended), Matlab or Octave. The participants must have a PC/Mac/Desktop with one of these software installed. In the workshops, the participants will use Python/Matlab/Octave for analyzing analyzing SGS models, SAS, PANS, DES and DDES. Scripts will be use for generating isotropic and anistropic (non-isotropic) synthetic turbulent fluctuations for inlet boundary conditions and embedded LES.

September, 2023
  • 14. International Conference on Computational Heat and Mass Transfer (ICCHMT2023)
Conference, Münsterstr. 156, Düsseldorf, Germany, September 4, 2023

The conference series ICCHMT is being held periodically, since 1999. It is one of the major international platforms in the area of heat and mass transfer, bringing researchers form all around the world together, working on the computational methods in heat and mass transfer.
