Hi everyone,
I use overset mesh to do flow simulations of a moving object. I have 2 zones: the background mesh and the overset mesh. When I use tecplot to visualize the flow, how can I automatically blank the data that are from the background mesh but are in the place of the overset zone? Thank you! |

Have a look at Plot>Blanking >Value Blanking. Usually there will be a Boolean variable in the dataset that you can use as the blanking variable.
Sometimes you have to play with the cell blanking conditions on when to blank a specific cell. If there are 1 node to blank, the cell centered/primary value, or all of the cell's nodes to blank a particular cell. |

Thank you novedevon, I tried to export the overset cell type in the cfd software, then can use that as the variable that can be blanked.
