Greeting to all,
I 'm currently doing 2-D airfoil shape optimization, and after the optimization process was finished, SU2 will give me an optimized airfoil mesh(.su2), but i was unable to find a way to transfer my airfoil to a CAD file format(.stp, .igs ...). I wanna ask you guys about if you ever encounter this problem?and how to make it happend? Thanks, daniel. |

Hi,
You can take the paraview result and export it to an STL. you can then load it in a CAD cleaning software, for instance Pointwise (Pointwise can also load su2 files directly). You remove the triangulation and keep only the surface information. You can merge the discrete surface into one surface again and remesh. |
