Hi, I'm a newbie in CFD. I'm triyng to model a flux of supercritical CO2, and for this application I can't use Peng-Robinson EoS, because it is rather ineffective near the critical point. For a faster and better solution I read in different forum that it is possible to combine SU2 with a look up table, with the " feature_adjoint_lut ". Here the mention of the feature in the github forum:

There are some reference about this topic also in some paper, as the following:

Unfortunately, seems that this option is implement only in the 5.0.0 version:

In any case, I can't find an example in which this feature is used, and I can figure out how to use SU2 with a look up table.

Someone can please help?

I am sure feature_adjoint_lut never made it to develop ... which you seem to already have checked.


Work on SU2 + look up table is currently done in feature_flamelet which is also in PR1223 on github. This is working in the scope of that PR and should in theory be what you are looking for but I personally cant give support on that.


So unfortunately there is no current plug and play solution in develop or master. And for the sake of your own time I would keep my hands of feature-branches unless you are interested in putting in some coding and debugging work yourself ... in that case you are more than welcome.
