Hi,
I am a beginner to CFD and I am trying to become familiar with SU2. I am not completely understanding the configuration file. Can someone please explain to me or link me something that can help with the customisation for configuration files. Any guidance will be much appreciated. Thank you |

Hi,
welcome to CFD and SU2 I would say the best approach is to start from an existing cfg file. For that you might want to first to look at our tutorials which go into detail for some options https://su2code.github.io/tutorials/home/ . More cfg files are in the code-root under /Testcases/ in multiple subfolders. So depending on Internal vs external, Compressible vs incompressible, etc. you can find a good baseline there. You'll find more information on many options here https://su2code.github.io/docs_v7/Configuration-File/ and in the subsection you see there on the left which go into detail. I hope that already gives you some pointers. Tobi |
