Dear people of the CFD forum,
This is my first post here, so please don't judge too hard I am using SU2 and Paraview to visualise data, and it is my first time using these tools. Using the configuration file to set the output files, I have succeeded in generating the surface.szplt/.vtu, vol_solution.szplt/.vtk/.vtu files together with the history, restart and forces files. This I can do using the following for the output files: Code:
OUTPUT_FILES= ( RESTART, PARAVIEW, SURFACE_PARAVIEW, PARAVIEW_ASCII ) I have seen that the PARAVIEW_ASCII part produces the vol_solution.vtk, to which I thank a previous post. However, it does not produce a usable surface file for paraview. Does anyone have a solution for this? Thank you in advance. I have added the config file for reference I am using SU2 7.0.5 and paraview 5.8.0 |

Hi,
Can you set SURFACE_PARAVIEW_ASCII instead of SURFACE_PARAVIEW in the output files command? Regards, Akshay |

Thank you Akshay, the SURFACE_PARAVIEW_ASCII solution worked perfectly.
