Hello everyone,
Just stopped by to ask the SU2 community for their opinion on making up coupled solvers for SU2 (I assume there are none, not sure yet). By "Coupled Solver", I mean one that solves a matrix of "tensors" instead of scalars (This way the matrix keeps its sparseness pattern). I'm not particularly experienced with SU2 but have worked on a number of CFD-related programming projects (OpenRSR for example) and now I'm considering switching to SU2. Any tips will be greatly appreciated. ----- Stay safe, Elwardi |

That is the default way the equations are solved in SU2, flow and turbulence (and other "auxiliary" physics) are segregated / weakly coupled, but all flow variables are solved for simultaneously.

Cool, you got me hooked, starting to study the code base right away
Thanks for the quick reply and I hope I can contribute valuable features to the project. |
