Hi,
I'm using SU2_v3.2.7 for shape optimization, but I'm a little confuse about the option RESIDUAL and CAUCHY in convergence criteria. Can anybody explain the difference between these options for me? Thanks in advance! Jason Shih |

The cauchy convergence looks at one of the coefficients and when the coefficient is steady to a specified decimal place for a certain number of elements (also specified) then the run stops. The residual looks at the density residual and requires that residual to decrease a specified number orders of magnitude.
