I'm doing a simulation in transient structural in workbench 17.1, when I try to import force-time history from excel-2010 into workbench using .XML files, it is showing that 'either the specified location is incorrect or the source at that location contains no data'. So can somebody please give me the solution of this problem.

Thanks

I have the same problem with importing acceleration-time history from excel-2016 into WB 15.1 I tried to import the data in ".XML" formats or ".txt" format ,but all my trials gave the same error of yours!

like the attached pictures I use Windows Copy and Paste to put acceleration-time history into an acceleration load in Transient Structural.

Someone sent me this method and I found it works.

Gweher will become famous soon enough
There are some issues when you try to import or even with copy / paste sometimes. When you use the copy/paste be sure to select the 1st cell of the table as Nasser showed otherwise partial paste could occur.

You can also take advantage of the external data module to import .txt / .csv files but unfortunately you can’t define acceleration directly but displacement and velocities are supported.
