I have a very good mesh file created with ICEM. With simulations in Star CCM+ I realized I need to refine a specific region of the mesh, but donīt know how to do it. Any ideas?
(since I donīt have the ICEM block file, refining the mesh with ICEM is not a good option either) Thank you in advance |

If you have a STAR license as well you could do it there and import.
I am not aware that you can locally re-refine an existing mesh in CCM+. |

create volume shapes from tools tab. volume shape is the area where u want different mesh density. then create new volumetric control in mesh tab and add the created volume shape to it. you can adjust the cell size for respective volumetric control.
