Hi There,

I am trying to use star-ccm+ to generate a radial polar cylindrical mesh for a circular cylinder with directed meshing. I used the cylinder surface as the source surface, and outer concentric surfaces of the circular domain as the target source. The mesh generated is as below. The issue is at the source mesh, the radial grid does not align with other concentric layers as shown in ogridzoom.png attached. Does anyone have a solution for this, or is there an additional step that may be of use?
(I have also attached a reference mesh as ref_mesh)

Thank you in advance

I sorted this out using an appropriate patch mesh if anyone had a similar problem. It appears i had complicated the thought process
