Hello,
Software Star CCM+ is new for me and I have, I guess, some beginner questions: 1) I have temperature distribution at some surface (line in 2D model). How to apply such boundary condition in Star CCM+? It is possible to read it from text file where temperature distribution depend also on time? If it is possible: how to do it? 2) I would like to set energy source per unit volume (S_E symbol in energy equation from help) in some domain. How to do it in Star CCM+? As before, I would like it to be dependent on time (I have some data in text files). Is it possible to set read it to Star CCM+? |

Hi azonips
1) Yes, see p 446 "Interpolating Table Values" of the UserGuide. You'll just need your data as a simple .csv file and set Temperature at Boundary - to the Field Function you create that will be interpolating table data. 2) Yes, see p 3732 "Enery Source Option", the rest is as described in 1). |
