Hello,
I am currently running simulations on star ccm+. Unfortunately the scalar scene is coming out patchy. I have attached a photo of the problem. Could the problem be the mesh or is the graphics on the computer? Is there any way to fix this? Thank you in advance. dfa |

What exactly do you mean by patchy in the scene? It might be a little clearer if you took a screenshot of the scene....
Otherwise you can also experiment with the contour style in Scalar. |

I can't really help you, I guess. But it looks to me more like a simple graphics error. I would perhaps create a plane section or move the existing one a little bit and see how it looks then. Are you using an overset mesh?

it looks like two coplanar surfaces being displayed- maybe from two regions not setup correctly for overset mesh and certainly a user setup issue and not a graphics one. try right clicking in that area and select hide and it will show the remaining faces.
