Hello,

I am currently working on a project where i need to deal with cement. For this purpose i am trying to define a new dynamic viscosity function which is Herschel-Burkley. So, i am currently do not know how to define Burkley as UDF to the program. IF anybody can help i will be very appreciate!

Thank you.

bluebase will become famous soon enough
Hi Ogulcan,

please have a look into the rheology section of the manual. Be adventurous and put "Herschel-Bulkley" into the search field (mind your typo, Bulkley, without the r).

You'll likely discover, that StarCCM has a model included which covers your use-case. It's called Generalized Power Law which you can select in the dyn. viscosity tab for your fluid. You'll only need to adapt the model constants to match it the HB model.

Best,
Sebastian
