Hi

Have a simple question. How can I have access to the material database? In the continua section, I selected the liquid but then it's water as the default. The liquid that I want to perform the simulation is not water. Can I just go in the physics section (after it was assigned the water) and liquid and simply change the density and viscosity? anyway where is this material database? I could't find it. when your setting the physics, it just asks the type of the fluid like gas, liquid or so.

Thanks,

Hello Mike,

Yes, is possible to do exactly what you said.
The material database becomes available in Tools -> Material Databases but only after you create a Physics Continua. Over there you will find the standard materials. In the database you can create new materials.
Hope it helps.

Thank you. I found it and was able to add a new material there. How can I set it as the working fluid? in the continua section, it's just water and it cannot be changed.

If you want you can just change the water properties and rename as desired or you can right click on the water and replace it with your fluid.
For sure you can valuable information, not only about this issue in the User Guide and way faster
