Hello, I am a totally newbie to CFD.
I am doing research on heat exchanger and the idea is as below: a solid plate inserted in the middle of 2 flow, whereas the flow using porous medium I know there are ways to apply heat transfer between the fluid and porous phase. However, is there anyway to apply heat transfer between the porous phase and the other solid phase so that there can be heat exchange between 2 fluids? Now I am very frustrated since I am totally unfamiliar with this field. Thank you guys very much. |

There is heat transfer between the porous media and connected solids if that's what you're asking. Just make an interface between them.
