Hi all

I have run an unsteady case simulation and encountered a problem where my y+ values have way exceeded the limit (1<y+<30). Would you all be so kind to give me some advice about this issue, please?

P.S. I have attached my y+ simulation and physics model that I used to run the simulation.

Thank you every much

1<y+<30 is the range you generally don't want to be in.

y+ is proportional to the wall distance, you need to refine your mesh to bring it down.

I think that is not kind of mesh problem.
Because the highest y+ value is too unrealistic.

check fluid properties. If you input viscousity wrong, sometimes see very high y+

I am trying to refine my mesh with my prism layer but somehow I couldn't get my prism layers to grow from small to large to match my core mesh. Would you be able to me tell what I need to change to match this? I can send you my mesh setting if you wanna see it?

Thank you
