Hello,

I've created a specifically contoured plane CAD. I'm aiming to transform it to a derived part in StarCCM from which I can then extract mass flow data from.

I can't figure out how to tell StarCCM to do this:

Any help is appreciated

You can export the surface as an STL and use an arbitrary surface to compute the mass flow.

However I would not recommend this, as using a section that is not in the mesh will not be conservative. If you want to measure mass flow you should put the interface in the mesh.
