Hi ,
I am new to STAR CCM+, can any one guide me , what are the steps involved in E-coat simulation using Star CCM+. Since I have Geometry and I meshed and generated the tet mesh and I don't no about the next steps.

Thank u in advance.

I did this a year before. First of all why tet. Tet will give large mesh count. You can go with trimmer as the geometry is dipped into the tank, which is quite large than geometry, and trimmer can have large volumetric growth rate. You have to choose a physics step up then. Set up few BC's and you are good to go.
There is this Japanese paper by Hisashi NAGAI, Yuki ONISHI, named "Exact Paint Resistance and Deposition Models for Accurate Numerical Electrodeposition Simulation". Download it, convert it into English and have a look at it. It will help you understand the working model and BC's used.
