Modeling Slug Flow in horizontal pipe

Hi,
I need to simulate a slug flow in an horizontal pipe. Reynolds is very high, so the flux is turbulent. Average inlet velocity is about 6 m/s. I have no idea what physic I can choose, if steady or unsteady, segregated flow or VOF...I'm at my first experiences with cfd, so I have to become familiar with it. Thank you very much!!! |

Unsteady certainly, coupled most likely, VOF required. No experience in this area, but a quick google search returned this:
