Dear All,
I run Tutorial 8.5 (wave propagation over natural bathymetry) as it is provided, i.e. without changing anything in the ctrl and control files (apart from numerical/MPI options to fit my computer). However, the waves are not propagating past the wave generation zone. It looks as if they are being dissipated directly after the generation zone (see attached video). Can you help me find out what I'm doing wrong? Best, Stamatis |

Hey Stamatis,
I can't replicate your problem with a recent version of REEF3D. Could you try using a newer Version of REEF3D or provide the specific DIVEMesh and REEF3D version used? |

Hey Alexander,
I was running REEF3D v23.11 and DIVEMesh v23.08. By updating both to v24.05 the problem was solved (which seems a bit odd to me, but have no problem accepting it as it is..). Thank you for your answer and suggestion! Best, Stamatis |
