Hello....
im using this REEF3D cfd. i simulate a 2D floating body. and my X 11 1 0 1 0 1 0 After the simulation i didnt get the REEF3D_SOLID.vtp) i opened the .pvtu file in paraview. i didnt get the floating solid to see the simulation in the paraview. where is the location of this solid? how can i add the solid to the numerical wave tank i created.. im attaching control.txt and ctrl.txt and also the screen shot of the simulated results.... please help me to see the solid in numerical wave tank........ |

X 10 1 needs to be active. You seem to have a small letter for this command, so it is not active

Hello....
I am using this REEF3D cfd. I simulate a 2D floating body. The spatial domain of the numerical wave tank (NWT) is 10m long and 1.8m high. The water depth is d=1.22m and the water is initially still. The density of the water is ρ=1000kg/m3. The body is a horizontal circular cylinder with a radius r=0.0762m and half of water density, ρ=500kg/m3. The cylinder is partially submerged with its centroid at h1=0.02454m above the free surface. [ATTACH]95832[/ATTACHCapture.JPG ctrl.txt control.txt] Could you help me to solve this error! Thank you ever so much |

I am currently working on a simulation of a cylinder using REEF3D, as detailed in your paper titled "Simulation of floating bodies using a combined immersed boundary with the level set method in REEF3D". I had to use some small letters for this command (replace X by x in 6DOF functions) to run successfuly. Can you show me more detail about this? Thank you very much control.txt ctrl.txt |

If I active X 10 command, this error appears (attachment picture) while using x 10 it is OK to run. Kindly guide me in rectifying them? Best regards control.txt ctrl.txt Capital letters.JPG |

I am also having this problem. Have you seen the simulated floating body in the paraview yet? Best regards |

You need to use the S 32 command in the control file to get the REEF3D_solid.vtp Of course, you can also use the stl file in "REEF3D_CFD_6DOF_STL" folder to see the position of floating body in Paraview. Regards |

I would like to attach here my control.txt and ctrl.txt file. Why don't I see the movement of the floating body in Paraview although I have use the command X 11 1 1 1 0 0 0 ? Thank you very much. Best regardsctrl.txt control.txt |
