Good day all,
I was trying to simulate the horizontal floating cylinder described in the section 4.1 from the paper Bihs, Hans, et al. "Simulation of floating bodies using a combined immersed boundary with the level set method in REEF3D." MARINE VII: proceedings of the VII International Conference on Computational Methods in Marine Engineering. CIMNE, 2017. But the simulation is aborting, with message: Hypre broke down, emergency stop. I am attaching all the necessary files. Please do help me out. Regards, Arya |

Hi all,
I was simulating the same floating cylinder mentioned in this thread, but with only heave DOF enabled. But I could see that the cylinder is going out of the domain.I have also tried with different meshes, but same results. What could be the physical reason for this? Is it because of the DOF or error in X 132 in ctrl file? I am also attaching the files. Please do clarify these doubts. Thanks in advance. |
