Hi,

I found REEF3D team is updating the code continuously. However, when I want to download it, I can only get REEF3D-master.zip which is the version published in May 31. So could anyone tell me how to download the code of other branch such as has_dev and release_candidate, thank you very much.

And I see the sediment part has been modified frequently, if there is a new version coming soon with a example of local scour? Thank you.

Best Regards!

Please use the arrow at the top left corner that says master and select "release candidate" for your download.

Thanks for your reply, but I have tried it and it didn't work. Please see my attachment. I chose release candidate and click "code" to download zip file, only to find the downloading file is 'REEF3D-master.zip'. I also tried to change the branch to hans_dev with the same file downloaded. I'm not familiar to github, maybe I made some mistake.

I am sorry. I was mistaken.
The Master is the most stable version that is released and updated every 6 months or so.
The release-candidate branch leads up to the next master release.
It is recommended that you use the latest master generally.

If you really wish to use the release-candidate version, you will need to use the console git commands or use github desktop.

To use the console:
git clone https://github.com/REEF3D/REEF3D.git

This will download a clone of the repository.
Then use:
git branch release_candidate

Then proceed to compile the code.

Remember to do the same with Divemesh, as some versions of REEF3D are not compatible with older versions of Divemesh.
