Hello, everyone.

I'm suffering from controlling the distance between nodes in Mesh.

I made a symmetric geometry which is similar to T-shape.
And then, when I set the spacing value on each lines as 0.1,
only one line shows unwanted spacing (different spacing from others).
I don't know what the problem comes from.
Could anyone give an advice for it?

I am using Pointwise V18.0 R1

<Description of attachment>

attachment #1 : Line 1~8 are the objects which should be spaced
attahcment #2 : Connectors information
attachment #3 : I selected spacing constraints all of them
(initial spacing : 5.5063019)
attachment #4 : and set the value as 0.1
attachment #5 : But Line 3 shows peculiar spacing that i don't want.

Best wishes.

The distribution function of connector #3 is different than that of the other connectors. Select one of the other connectors, go to Grid, Distribute, followed by the Function tab and note the distribution function type (probably Tanh). Then, select connector #3 and go to Grid, Distribute, Functions and set it's distribution function to the same.

Grid points along a connector are distributed using a specific distribution function which you have the ability to change. If you see a mismatch such as this, then most likely your distribution functions do are not the same.
Paul Caicedo and hux0730 like this.

Oh, Thank you for your advice. That's really what I want.
It works well
