Block showing negative volume in pointwise

I made a boundary layer block in gridgen and checked for min component voume . There were no cells with a negative volume , but when in bring the same mesh in pointwise it shows the following error (pic attached) and upon continuing and then examine component volume it shows many cells with negative volume . What is this error ?

After importing the grid, did you check whether changing the orientation will help you or not?
Sometimes, structured block with inappropriate orient will identify as negative volume mesh. For changing the orient go to Edit, Orient... Last edited by pdp.aero; September 29, 2014 at 20:45. Reason: adding points |
