Dear Foamers,
I want to analyse the velocity profile of a turbomachine. Therefore I want to plot the velocity over a circle. (radius, sampling points) But the problem is, that paraview only offers plotting over a line or a sphere! In the end my aim is comparing plotted velocity to CFXpost, "surface of Revolution". please help me! Best regards, chris |

Thanks a lot you for your help!
It works, but not in the way I exactly wanted to. What I get on intersection is a octagon, not a circle. So I tried it the other way: First I take a sphere source. There I chose a really high theta resolution, so I got a very good approach to a circle. Next I take the "plot on intersection curves" and took the plane: But Paraview don't want to plot not one of the physical quantities. (it offers only useless things like "normals" or "points"). paraview makes me really depressed. Regards, Chris |
