Hi there!

I'm trying to do the analysis of the data obtained after doing my CFD simulation of my F1 car with laminar flow. I would like to know how I can visualize my "wallShearStress" over my F1. For that I searched in the CFDonline forums ([Paraview] Wall Shear Stress) and I found some possible solutions, for example:
Quote:
postProcess -func wallShearStress

Also I found it in OpenFoam UserGuide (https://www.openfoam.com/documentati...earStress.html)

The problem is that when I ran the case on the terminal with this option It jumped this error:

Quote:
Create time

Create mesh for time = 0

wallShearStress wallShearStress:
processing all wall patches

Time = 0s

Reading fields:

Executing functionObjects

--> FOAM FATAL ERROR:
Unable to find turbulence model in the database

From function virtual bool Foam::functionObjects::wallShearStress::execute()
in file wallShearStress/wallShearStress.C at line 210.

FOAM exiting

It would very helpful if someone had a similar problem like this one and know the solution. Maybe I need to change some files like controlDict or in file momentumTransport?

On the other hand, if someone has the steps for calculaing the wallShearStress in paraView is also welcomed!!

Thanks for reading and the ones who help!

Hi AtoHM,

Thank you so much! It worked perfectly! You earned me so much time for doing my postprocessing analysis.

See you in the forum
