mkjmalik is an unknown quantity at this point
Hi Everyone..

Actually i'm unable to import csv file using table to structured grid filter.
i know how to adjust whole extent, but in my case my points are not exactly the cube. So i don't know how it will work.

my points in x are constant i.e 19 points in x direction
my points in y & z are not constant they varies at some location, i.e at some locations in y direction i've 6 or 7 or 8 points, similarly in z direction i've 16 or 18 points.

i want to know is there any way that i can be able to use this filter for my further work.

any help would be appreciated.

Regards.

I was able to import the csv file into Paraview correctly. Can you clarify what the problem is?

Actually I think I understand your quesiton now. If there are unequal numbers of values for each row then its not a structured grid, so it won't work. Try the Table to Points filter instead.

the whole extent needs to be adjusted according to my array size in each direction. and this option is for perfect cube. but in my case my points in x direction are fine they are constant i.e 19 points in x direction, but in y and z direction my no. of points varies,

lets suppose at x = 1, i have 6 points in y direction similarly at x =2, but at x= 3 i have 7 or 8 points in y direction.
same is the case in z direction.

what should i do here, how i will specify my whole extent?

i get an error message if provide less points or more points. i mean suppose i put 6 points in y direction than an error message pops up saying i should have less rows in my csv file or if i put 7 points in y , error message says i should have more rows than i have in my csv file.

hope that i conveyed my point.
for further you can view my file in last message.

Structured grids must have the same number of points in each direction, so this filter won't work for your dataset.

i actually want to cut slices of my geometry at different location, to visualize the behaviour. i need surface, is it possible in table to points filter?

It should be possible if you create a uniformly spaced dataset with arbitrary data that you could then use Resample with Dataset to resample the point data onto a structured grid. I've not tried it, but conceptually I think it would work.

You can just use Delaunay3D to create a grid after using table to points filter and then you can do slicing.

Then i will be able to visualize surfaces?

And where i can find this option?

Here is the pipeline and an example visualization of your data.
