Hello all,

I am trying to extract the droplet size distribution of an atomisation (3D jet) process using ParaView. Does anybody how may I extract that information?

Regards

Ricardo1992,

I am not sure if this is what you are looking for but...

For lagrangian parcels you can use a histogram filter based on Temp, Umag, diameter, or any calculated property. Just make sure only the parcels are active in the 3D viewer.

Hope this helps,
Joshua

Hello,

Tanks for your replay. The attached figure shows the case that I am undergoing, the jet and the droplet size distribution. The jet I have simulated is similar to the presented in the figure, now I need to know how to extract the droplet information.

Any advice?

Hi

I also need to find droplet size distribution. I have not used lagrangian model but interFoam(Eulerian) model. Is there still anyway to get it?
