Hi,
I need to create streamlines for my 2D simulation. When I open the *.vtk file using paraview, the streamline option is not enabled. How can I draw the streamlines ? |

I solved this problem. As I understand, the ParaView doesn't support 2-component fielddata well. Most of its filters only support for 3-component fielddata if it requires vector input. So your problem may be caused by that your velocity data only has 2 components. My suggestion is expanding your velocity data to 3 components with 0 on the z-direction. Hope it will help you. |
