Hey All,

I am trying to make the color scale transition from one color to true white; however, when I it always seems to transition to grey (as seen in the picture below). Is there anyway to have it transition to white (like in the background)?

Thanks!

Hi,

You could 'cheat' as in the attached picture. Here, I have added an intermediate scale, where the intermediate and the rightmost are both white.

Kind regards,

Niels

That was one of the first things I tried and unfortunately, that does not work.

I've uploaded one of my VTK files here: http://www.filedropper.com/tb61 in case anyone has a chance to try this.

Thanks you for your help.

I'd also recommend turning on the headlight, if you haven't already done so:

Edit > View Settings > Headlight. A strength of 0.25 works fine for me, you can adjust accordingly. I think the type of shader and interpolation would have a large effect on how it looks.

As I was looking for a way to change the solid color in 2018, as proposed by mturcios777 - here is where the option is placed nowadays.
Hope it saves others some time
