Hi,
I'm trying to simulate spray with the hollowconeinjector, but need a time varying cone angle. Can anybody give me some tips how to make it? Best regards Jams |

Hi James,
I know it's been a while that you've posted this but I am facing the same problem. I need to define a time varying cone angle but I can not find a way. I am using FLUENT btw but any idea and suggestion in most appreciated |

In 2.1.x, the cone angles (inner and outer) are defined as TimeDataEntry, which works the same as the flowRateProfile. If you are using before 2.1.x I think you have modify the base spray types to include this type of behaviour.

Most definitely not the same logic. OpenFOAM and Fluent go about things VERY differently. My suggestion (if you haven't already done so) is to post your question in the Fluent forums.
