Hi there,
Did anybody ever used openfoam for the modelling o f atmospheric pressure discharge, say corona disch arge in the air? I am not familiar with OpenFoam, but I am curious if it has the capability to simulate plasma? Can it be used to solve (1): possion's electric field with space charge (2) gas phase chemical reaction between molecules, ions and electrons? |

Funny you should mention that - we have accepted a project doing MHD with OpenFOAM for the Summer School in Zagreb in September 2010.
There has been a presentation on plasma modelling at the Milan Workshop 2008 - I guess this is still available on the web site. Hrv
