Hi,
I'm running DNS using a solver wich is based on icoFoam. It automatically writes ddt0(phi) ddt0(U) phi_0 U_0 in each time directory. These quantities seems to be used in my Crank-Nicholson time scheme. Since my data is huge I prefer not to write them. Is there any point in keeping these field quantities and if not is there any way to disable writing these quantities. Alireza Last edited by ali84; November 13, 2009 at 14:14. |

Dear Alireza,
I met the same problem, to avoid writing the extra field quantites as ddt0, phi and so on. Have you solved this problem? Thank you very much! best regards, |

I think they should be written.because next time steps need them.
