Hi everyone,
I am trying to do a simulation in which I want helical motion of wing (rotation about z axis and also moving in z direction). What is best was to implement this? |

Hi,
Probably you would want to look at multiMotion and then have combinations of rotatingMotion and linearMotion. There are various options that include oscillation or being driven by external forces. You may need to use overset mesh as well, depending on how large the translation becomes. I would start with looking at some tutorials: Code:
grep -r Motion $FOAM_TUTORIALS Good luck, Tom |
