Hi CFDers,

Background intro pic:

I'm doing CFD via openFOAM to simulate Rayleigh jet formation. However, I cannot get Jet formation.

Case Setup from Github:https://github.com/xixihaha1995/drop...Surface_impact

Simulation Results from Google Drive:https://drive.google.com/open?id=1E5...bXxE7wW98BqOmk

Existing similar simulation:
Gao, Fei. "Numerical simulation of the droplet-surface impact using interFoam." (2016).

Reference Paper:
Castillo-Orozco, Eduardo, et al. "Droplet impact on deep liquid pools: Rayleigh jet to formation of secondary droplets." Physical Review E 92.5 (2015): 053022.

In case you couldn't open link, here is the big picture of my openFOAM setup:
blockMesh: 0.04 meter/400 cells
interFoam solver: RAS, k-epsilon

startTime 0;
stopAt endTime;
endTime 0.003;
deltaT 0.00003;

Thank you!
Stay healthy!

Every thing is right basically you have set the droplet position in the wrong position.
