Hello everyone!
We are assigned to work on using parallel computing for reducing the simulation time of CFD simulations (in oprenFOAM). We are complete noobs. We have studied Fluid Mechanics in detail and are currently taking a course in CFD. We have 7 months. Our professor wants us to use Apache Hadoop for this purpose. 1. How much do we require in openFOAM to achieve this task? 2. How much expertise of Hadoop is required to achieve this task? 3. Are there other alternatives to Hadoop? Simulations will most probably will be hydro-kinetic turbine blades. |

Hi,
Did you have any progress on using hadoop with openfoam? Any takeaways on your study. |
