Hello All,

We know that now OpenFOAM combsution solver can handle detailed chemistry. However, the unity Lewis number assumption is always used. So currently (like for OpenFOAM 5.0) is it possible to consider the detailed transport for all the species? Thank you very much if somebody can comment this.

I implemented detailed transport in OpenFOAM 2.3.x using a mixture-averaged model, and that worked well for several tests.
So yes, it can be done.

I have not worked with OpenFOAM 5.x yet.

Dear Adhiraj,

Is it possible to share the code for this model, so that I can integrate it into OpenFOAM 5.x? Thanks!

I am in the process of publishing the code. It is taking longer than I was hoping, as I am working on some other stuff.

I may port the transport models to version 5.x, but that may depend on what I work on for the next few months.

Dear Adhiraj,

It is very kind of you to share your code! I am now simulating supercritical combustion with OF-2.3.1. I will appreciate it if you can also publish the detailed transport model for version 2.3.1.
