Hi everyone,
For my simulations I like to have the iso surface of temperature or heat release. But when I look at the vtk file, the output is not smooth at all (see the attached picture). I've tried to smooth it using paraview but the result is still not good (and it is numerically expensive). Is there a way to improve the iso-surface output? I've tried to look at the doc and I've found nothing about it... Thank you for your help |

Try the latest Paraview 5.4 . Import the foam case directly an generate the iso surface in Paraview. When you switch off decomposepolyhedra option and do not triangulate, you get a nice smooth surface.

Thank you for your reply.
With paraview it is working but I have to save the fields during my simulation and this is something I've tried to avoid (space consuming). |
