Hi,

I am trying to learn the framework of OpenFoam so that I can edit the equations that are being solved.

As a starting point for my learning, I am trying to edit the laplacianFoam solver to add a source term. If I succeed in adding a large source term, the basic/laplacianFoam/flange should blow up, proving I'm editing the correct file.

I have edited the file in:

applications/solvers/basic/laplacianFoam/laplacianFoam.C

However, this does not change the solution. Anybody able to shed some light or point me to a good guide on this?

Regards.

Thanks floquation and Tobias.

Yes, I simply wasn't compiling. I'm a bit embarrassed to waste your time on something so simple.

I appreciate your help, I am used to the MATLAB environment where you don't compile.
