Dear all,
at the moment I am checking the units of the energy equation here: http://cfd.direct/openfoam/energy-equation/ ... however, the kinetic energy is given in units of per unit mass while the internal energy is given in units of per unit volume. Based on the terms, the internal energy should also be per unit mass otherwise the units will not fit. Can someone confirm that? Why I was checking it... I am checking the units of my equations in my book and I found some unit problems.

I think it is a mistake. "specific" of any physical quantity is normally per unit mass and not volume. See here also

It was an error, it is corrected now (will take a few hours for cache to clear).
