Hi,
I am working on a simulation of flow past plate using LES simulation. I am looking for away to get the coherent and incoherent structure of the flow behind the plate. I am using the same plate shape in the paper " Incoherent turbulence structure in the near wake of a normal plate" by By M. KIYA and MATSUMURA. So, any one know how to get the plots in figure 4 and 5 in the attached paper using OpenFoam results ( velocity filed, vorticity)? Regards, Bashar |

You can use Paraview for that.
Paraview can show contours on a plane and has a feature where you can add your own formulas. Just use the cavity tutorial to get started. After that you should be able to apply the software to your case. |
