Accurate initial interface shape by cylinderToCell

Hi All,
I am using cylinderToCell to generate a cylindrical initial interface shape. However, since my initial mesh is course, I can't have a smooth initial cylindrical shape, which will lead to inaccurate interface deformation. I noticed that the mesh refinement I used can give me a refined mesh around the interface so the interface looks much smoother. But I don't know how to get refined mesh around the interface at t=0. Thanks for any advice! Best, |

The only thing I can do now is to give a finer regular initial mesh. Best, |

You can use the refineMesh utility on a cellSet. It seems you would have to refine a cylinder first and then set the initial field. You could conceivably do this several times to get a nice interface, but any more than twice feels like overkill and it may potentially bias your results.
