Dear Open Foam Community
Attached you find a folder with a case. A rather hot cube in the velocity field of ambient air. Now the issue is, that the air passing along the cubes surface does not heat up and the cube does not cool down. This is rather unfortunate and I wondered whether there is some expert in the field of snappyMultiRegionHeater. Thank you in advance Marco |

Hi Marco
I had a look into your case. Your simulation region is quite big. The outer air cube is 20x20x20 meters. When you just simulate 500 sec in this huge region with this very coarse mesh you will see almost nothing. I used convertToMeters 0.01 in blockMeshDict to get a smaller domain and the results look good. Keep foaming, cheers Fabian |
