Hi everybody
I'm new to OpenFOAM and also new to this website. I have a question about my project, I need to develop a code for solving flow and heat transfer in a wavy channel including nanofluid, in my case water as a fluid and Cuo as nanofluid respectively. I just want to know how hard it is? I am wondering why OpenFOAM don't have such a standard solver? Thanks to all. |

Does it matter it's a nanofluid? Do you need to track mixing? Otherwise it's a very simple problem - just treat it as a single phase fluid with the appropriate material properties and solve it with one of the heat transfer solvers included in openfoam.

Then it should be a normal heat transfer case in OpenFOAM.

Dear friends
if we want to track particles and solve it as a two-phase, which solver do you think is appropriate? I found DPMFoam, but it seems to work for a dense flow not dilute flow! |
