Reynold Stress Tensor

Hi Foamers,
I have to diagonalize the R tensor, so I tryed to evaluate the eigenvalues and eigenvectors, like this: volSymmTensorField RST ( IOobject ( "RST", runTime.timeName(), mesh, IOobject::NO_READ, IOobject::NO_WRITE ), turbulence->R() ); Info<< "Inizio op Tensori\n" << endl; volTensorField eigR = RST.eigenVectors(); volTensorField diagR = transform( transform(inv(eigR),RST) , eigR ); Info<< "Fine op Tensori\n" << endl; but it tell me that there's no eigenVectors function for volSymmTensorField. Any suggestion? Thanks |

And, moreover,
the function eigenVectors() returns the eigenvectors tensor, but is not clear for me if it put the eigenvectors in the coluns or in the rows. Anybody knows it? Ivan |
