In rhoCentralfoam, in the fvSchemes, there is an option of fluxscheme, the default is Kurganov. Actually, I did not understand what this fluxscheme is. I read somewhere that I can use Tadmor. When I look into literature I see Kurganov Tadmore and Nessyahu Tadmor schemes. Well, still I don't understand what it is! I am more confused now, in openfoam, when I use Kurganov, I guess it is Kurganov Tadmore, right? When I use Tadmor, I guess it use Nessyahu Tadmore, am I right?
Can anyone please simply explain what this fluxscheme in Openfoam and what is the differenece between Kurganove and Tadmor? Why this fluxscheme is not in other solvers like Simple, Pimple or rhoSimple? May be I totally confused everything. A simple explanation would help me. |
