Dear community,
I'm trying to simulate sediment transport and deposition in the pipeline by employing the Eulerian scheme. Based on the literature the twoPhaseEulerFoam has successfully been able to capture the concentration along the pipe and deposition at the bottom of the pipe. As shown attached I get some results so no problem with using the scheme. However, the problem is the computational cost of running transient simulations for long pipes. I have been searching to see if similar to interFoam anyone has successfully applied local time stepping to get a steady state solution in twoPhaseEulerFoam. I have tried some of the proposed changes in the below links in the fvScheme but eventually didn't make it work as steady. appreciate any feedback or link to GitHub.
